🎨 Pixelizer ​

The Pixelizer is a 2D editing tool built for creating stunning pixel art and map art using Minecraft blocks. Whether you're transforming real-world images or designing artwork from scratch, the Pixelizer gives you full control over how your creation appears in-game.


πŸ–ΌοΈ Importing an Image ​

To get started:

  1. Upload a PNG or JPEG image.
  2. The Pixelizer automatically converts it into a Minecraft block grid.
  3. You’ll see a preview using your selected block palette.

Once imported, you can tweak and customize your creation using a variety of tools and settings.


🎚️ Image Controls ​

Click on the image to reveal its editing options. From there, you can:

  • Adjust the size
  • Change the block palette using the palette selector in the top toolbar

This gives you full flexibility over how the image appears as Minecraft blocks.

🧰 Editing Tools ​

Once pixelated, you can enhance or touch up your artwork using intuitive editing tools:

  • πŸ–ŠοΈ Pencil – Place individual blocks
  • 🧽 Eraser – Remove specific blocks
  • πŸ–ŒοΈ Brush – Paint 3Γ—3 blocks at once for faster edits

These tools help you make fine adjustments without restarting your import.


πŸ—ΊοΈ Map Art Mode ​

Want to turn your image into Minecraft map art? Simply enable Mapart Mode from the top toolbar.

You can customize:

  • 🧭 Map width & height – How many in-game maps your art will span
  • 🌈 Enhanced Colors – Enable this to triple the palette using lighter and darker shades, resulting in more accurate color rendering

πŸ“€ Exporting ​

When you're ready, export your creation in any supported Minecraft format:

  • .schem, .litematic, .nbt, .mcstructure, .schematic

The exported file is fully compatible with world editors and can be easily imported into your Minecraft builds.
